Celebrating 15 Months and 178 Lists on Benable: My Why, My What, My How!

Fifteen months ago, I followed a gentle nudge — to share the things I genuinely love and use, not just with my close circle, but with the world. What began as a single list on Benable has now grown into an incredible library of 178 lists (and counting), each created with intention, honesty, and heart.

My Why: Serving Through Sharing

At the center of it all is a genuine desire to help others. I believe in lifting others up — whether it’s by recommending stuff I myself would use, offering inspiration through faith-based encouragement, or making someone’s day easier with travel ideas.

Sometimes people just need a little direction in a world full of choices. I share not to sell — but to serve. My lists are born out of real experiences, real needs, and real questions people ask every day.

My What: A Little Bit of Everything — With Love

My How: Living What I List

I create each list with purpose. Everything I recommend is either something I personally use, have deeply researched, or trust enough to share with my own family. My process is simple — observe, experience, curate. I think of the busy parent looking to simplify mornings, the writer trying to stay organized, or even the artist or the student needing back to school essentials.

I also listen. Many of my lists are built from real conversations — like helping a friend plan a find food they can enjoy, or services they can benefit from, or compiling intriguing book titles based on what piques my interest.

And because I believe in living consciously, I’ve also created lists to support my diet and lists for eco-friendly habits and choices.

My Joy: Building a Trusted Space

The greatest joy in this journey is knowing that my recommendations have made a difference in someone’s life. Maybe it was a cozy home find that brought peace, or online courses that can help individuals realize their dreams. Even the smallest list, like my home and kitchen essentials, has the power to impact someone’s daily routine.

This platform has also allowed me to celebrate the little wins — like toys and book resources for little ones, feel-good product finds, or games that families can enjoy together or as simple as clothing for all family members.

Celebrating excellent deals and products!

Hey everyone, I am here to share some excellent deals and products I have found with you! They are links I personally created of products that I have either used over the years or have every intention of getting.

Celebrating my experience on Benable.com

Hey everyone, have you ever heard of Benable? Trust me before I saw the option to join, I had never heard of it! Once I got the opportunity to join (not sign up as it takes way longer) I grabbed it and knew it would be something I would enjoy.

So, in this sense, yes, you read it correctly! I am on Benable and I am loving the experience! My journey began in April, and it continues to be a positive experience that allows me to share products I trust and know of with others the world over!

More so it allows me to introduce people to deals and enriching experiences that they too can benefit from.

Announcing Lotuses at His Holy Feet (Kindle Ed)

Jaya Guru Datta!

Yes, you have read the title correctly! This post is dedicated to announcing the Kindle publication of ‘Lotuses at His Holy Feet’. For those who are familiar with this book, it is a book of poetry that tells a story and it was written by Sheetal K Prasad, a Trinidadian by birth, who is an ardent devotee of His Holiness Param Pujya Dr Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji. In this book Uncle Sheetal refers to His Holiness as, “my MASTER, my Lord, my sole reason for being.”

Lotuses at His Holy Feet is non-fiction and it is a testimony of Uncle Sheetal’s experiences as well as his love for His Holiness, his love for JayaLakshmi Maa and his love for Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji who we affectionately call Sri Bala Swamiji. More so it is a testimony and celebration of the greatness of the divinity each represents meaning a celebration of the greatness of our Sadguru who is the epitome of Truth, Knowledge and Bliss, as Lord Dattatreya, as Nada Brahma, as our Saviour, as the Crowning Glory of the Universe as I often times refer to His Holiness, and it is a celebration of His Mother-the Divine Mother-, His Guru as well as a celebration of Sri Bala Swamiji- Junior Pontiff at Avadhoota Datta Peetham who exudes humility, compassion and divinity.

Those who know Uncle Sheetal would know of his sincerity, his humility and his immense talent as a singer and musician. His life and messages provide us with a lot to learn. He is well-known and well-loved!

Celebrating Reading the Kindle Way!

Nothing beats sitting down with a great book and reading, won’t you say? If you can’t afford it getting it free is surely an option! 

One pertinent fact is that many think that you need an actual kindle to read books on kindle! Truth is that having a kindle is fine but once you are already an Amazon customer you can download the Kindle App to your device (e.g. mobile/ desktop/ laptop) and what’s even better is that you can search for books, purchase them and download the books you have purchased directly to your device!

Finding the kindle app is not as difficult as it may seem! One option is going to Google. Another for Android users is going to the Google Play Store! iPhone users can use the App store.

More great news is that the Kindle App is free and comes at no cost to you!

Do you also know that you can search for free kindle books? Try it and you will see that you surely can! Free books on kindle may be free but you need to act quickly if you want to get it at $0.00.

Whether you are looking for a fictional piece be it for a child or an adult there should be something to pique your interest! Also if you want books on meditation or cooking or yoga here’s what you do:

Select the store option on the app and type in what you are hoping to find! For example you can type in the search bar these options- “free meditation books” or “free recipe books” or “free yoga books” or “free children’s books”.
